Qualification and capacity:

GEO Group a.s. was founded in 1991 and holds actually 15 employees with a projected yearly turnover of about 1 Mio EURO. GEO Group inc. is a specialized engineering and consulting company, providing wide spectrum of services in applied geology, especially in areas related with environmental problematics. The GEO Group inc. completely and expertly covers the whole range of problematics in geology, hydrogeology, geochemical analysis, water management and waste management and disposal. Among the offered services can be found not only complete spectrum of reports, analyses and recovery operations of ecological and environmental emergencies, but also works related to water source location, protection and management. Substantial part of our activities belongs to ecological projects carried out in cooperation with European Union and with companies with similar orientation from neighbouring countries. The GEO Group inc. closely co-operates with leading czech companies in the field of its expertise and in technically oriented activities as laboratory analysis and drilling programmes. GEO Group inc. holds the Certificate Of Quality ISO 9001 for geological works. Projects in relation to ecological problems supported by the EC and other foreign institutions by international cooperation are an important part of the companies activities. The know how provided and experience gained covers a broad spectrum ranging from hydrogeology and water systems engineering to risk assessment in waste management, detection and evaluation of contaminations in water and soil, source location and monitoring and relevant recovery operations. This is completed by expertise in sampling and sample preparation of different environmental media, chemical analyses as well as (geo)physical measurements supported by standardized data acquisition methods based on reliable quality assurance procedures. Using modern IT and high qualified application software systems these regionalized data can be processed accordingly and thematic maps generated providing the necessary basis for ecological studies and regional planning issues.
